On the whole Network Leaders need facilitation skills. Its quite a different role from being a team leader or a manager. You need to support your members, ensure everyone can access the network materials and intelligence, and create opportunities for members to connect together. Really important re the facilitation skills- I also think having good sponsorship from key stakeholders is so important to ensure that the network feels and is able to dedicate the time and resources needed to tackle their challenges- and enough head space/room to try a range of approaches to addressing their challenges. In essence -support and permissions in every sense.
I agree with all so far and also feel we need to be able to articulate the vision in a clear and concise manner with consistent key messages.
I also feel that we as leaders need patience. I'm always saying slow and steady wins the race.
