I was wondering what fellow members use to help map out who is around and what they may (or may not) be doing in a network, local area etc. Thanks.

The Local Research Networks have an open data platform which is web based and is used to collate information about activity in our defined regions; we can also view data across other networks. The network nationally defined 30 clinical areas and we have a lead for each of these in our area, we can therefore contact this person to let us know who is in the wider community of practice and what activities are happening outside of those which are captured in the data platform. We use a hub that members can also use to share information, work on documents together and share impact and achievements.

This is a timely question - I have today taken an action to capture this type of data for our locality.

The clinical network I support has a FutureNHS collaboration page.

This is an online portal developed by NHS England to support distributed networks. It can be used to share information and host forums.

The enhanced health in care homes page hosted by NHS England System Transformation Group is a really well used online network.
